A controversial planning application in the Moorlands is set to be refused

The Staffordshire Moorlands District council planning committee are recommended to refuse a controversial planning application next week. The Planning application for outline planning permission for a residential development on a greenfield site south of Thorncliffe road in Leek has sparked concerns from residents and even lead to campaigning.

Leek Town Council have recommended that the proposal is refused Tittesworth parish council have also expressed their objection as have the peak district national park.

The application is set to be refused on the 13th of February at a district council panning committee meeting
