A county-wide organisation, which has a base in the Moorlands, is urging rural organisations to make the most of its services this new year.
Since September 2018, Support Staffordshire has taken on the role of Rural Community Council for Staffordshire which was previously carried out by the Community Council of Staffordshire.
Support Staffordshire is also the local member of Action with Communities in Rural England.
The organisation’s Rural Officers offer an additional rural-focused service on top of the organisation’s general range of services to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across Staffordshire.
They can offer expert support and development advice on all aspects of running an effective organisation including funding, governance, and licencing.
The services are offered to anyone involved in a village hall, a community shop, a community pub, or other rural community group, who would like some support.
