Moorlands Radio is a community radio station based in Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands, England. We were granted a full-time FM broadcasting licence in the second round of community radio licensing by broadcast regulator Ofcom in February 2008.
The station is now on air serving the rural Staffordshire Moorlands and covering the main towns of Leek, Biddulph and surrounding villages.
We broadcast on 97.3FM and 103.7FM across the Moorlands, online via our website and the free Moorlands Radio app. You can also listen to Moorlands Radio via Tune In and your smart speaker.
Moorlands Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day and has a mix of music and speech featuring the very best presenters and local people.
We broadcast local and national news, sport, local weather, showbiz, business and we look at international news from a Moorlands perspective.
At night we broadcast a range of specialist music from rock to jazz and much more, and our programmes feature the biggest pop hits from the last 40 years along with the very best music from local musicians.
