Appeal after Delivery Driver Assaulted During Robbery

Officers are appealing for information after a delivery driver was assaulted during a robbery in Fegg Hayes on Friday.

Police were called at 2.50pm on Friday (14 January) to Johnson Place, following reports of a robbery.

A delivery driver reported being approached by three men who punched him before accessing the victim’s van and stealing parcels from inside.

The offenders then made their escape on foot.

The victim suffered a nose bleed in the assault which did not require medical treatment.

The three offenders are described as white, of slim builds, wearing dark tracksuits with hoods and snoods covering their faces.

Anyone who may have witnessed the assault and theft, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time of the incident is asked to get in touch with us.
