Derbyshire County council release information on location of Coronavirus cases

Derbyshire County council has confirmed the area of Derbyshire which have cases of Coronavirus.

The figures released by Derbyshire County Council show that 3 cases of coronavirus are in the High Peak area of the county which borders the Staffordshire Moorlands.

A fourth case of Coronavirus is in Erewash.

Derbyshire County council say

“We’re working closely with our NHS colleagues and other local authorities to ensure that the people of Derbyshire are kept well informed.

You’ll find lots of information around the virus, how to prevent its spread and what to do if you are concerned that you might be at risk.

As of 9 March 2020, a new coronavirus case has been confirmed in Derbyshire, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 4.

If you’ve not been contacted by Public Health England you do not need to take any action at this time”
