Hanley Town manager Carl Dickinson has made his first signing as manager of the North West Counties Football League Premier Divison side.
He’s brought in former Port Vale midfielder Louis Dodds from Southern League Premier Central side Hednesford Town.
Dodds originally joined Vale in 2008 and, was part of the Valiants team that won promotion out of League Two in 2013. He left in 2016 to join Shrewsbury Town. However, he returned to Vale Park in a brief spell in 2018 from National League side Chesterfield.
Along with Hednesford Town, Dodds has had Non-League experience with Northwich Victoria and Chorley.
