Buxton & Leek College is holding a drop-in session for people who want to find out more about the
career opportunities that an apprenticeship can bring.
The free session is taking place on Wednesday 8th January 2020 from 10am-2pm at both the Buxton
and Leek campuses. The event is open to the public and will provide information on apprenticeships
for young people and adults, apprentice jobs in the area and how to apply for the right vacancy.
There’s no need to book a place, just head along to the campus on the day to meet with the
Apprenticeships Team and find out more.
Recruitment Coordinator at Buxton & Leek College, Kath Ferns, said: “This is a great opportunity for
anyone who isn’t sure about whether an apprenticeship is right for them, or wants to discover more
about the apprentice jobs available in the local area. Apprenticeships are for everyone, not just
school-leavers, and are a great way to gain the skills, training and qualification you need in a career.”
If you’re an employer interested in finding out more about how an apprenticeship could benefit your
business, you can also visit the drop-in to speak to the team.
