Buxton have confirmed that they will host double headers on successive Sundays in a bid to help clubs chasing a play-off spot.
After Sunday’s meeting against Eastbourne fell victim to the weather it left Buxton bosses with a dilemma – how does five go into four? Birmingham, Plymouth and Kent were already scheduled to race at Hi-Edge over the next two weeks but how could you fit Eastbourne and Coventry in as well? The matter was referred to the authorities on Monday morning but later the same day Eastbourne confirmed that they could not travel to Buxton on Sunday so the date was offered to the Bees who duly accepted. Mrs Moss said that it has been a season to forget in more ways than one. These five matches have all been affected by the weather and time is running out fast. Two double headers on successive weeks are not ideal but we have done our best to get the meetings on in time and hopefully the weather will be on our side. Admission prices will be announced as soon as possible via our website and social media.
