Kidsgrove Athletic bring back goalkeeper Dom Kurasik to the club

Kidsgrove Athletic have announced that Dominic Kurasik has returned to the club.

The goalkeeper made 24 appearances for the Grove last season, including being in goal for the win against Workington in the Emirates FA Cup and before going close to getting a remarkable result at Hartlepool United.

Kurasik returned to his native country of Australia in January where he lined up for Preston Lions.

He can also count Colchester United, Brentford, Maldon and Tiptree and Stoke City amongst his former clubs.

Kidsgrove Athletic manager Ryan Austin commented on the arrival by saying: “Dom was excellent for us last season before going to Australia. He’s come back now and was available.

“He is a good player and, we’re never going to say no to a good player and he adds another dimension to the group.

“Dom also adds competition for Kieran (Harrison), so it was a no brainer to bring him back in.”

Kurasik was an unused sub at Lincoln United on Saturday as the Grove ran out 5-0 winners.
