Staffordshire police are urging people to be vigilant to stay safe over Christmas. They say not to leave presents on show, either in vehicles or around the home, as this can be attractive to opportunist thieves.
When shopping, be aware of who is around you when loading presents in your vehicle – thieves may be watching and waiting to help themselves when you are away from your car, especially with the release of new gaming consoles this year.
