Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted purse theft in the Moorlands.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “At approximately 12.30pm hours on Friday 8th February there was an attempted purse dipping within the Mind Charity Shop in Derby Street,Leek. “At present we have limited details of the offender who is described as female, wearing a dark coloured puffa style coat wearing a woollen beanie hat.”
Police are also appealing for witnesses after number plates were stole from outside a residential property in Wall Terrace, Cheddleton. The incident happened during the hours of darkness on February 7th and 8th.
Anyone with any information about either of these incidents is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101.
Meanwhile, police have placed a Section 35 Dispersal Notice for the Werrington area. The Anti-Social Behaviour related order is in place until 5pm this evening – Sunday, February 10th.
