Police tackling county lines drugs operations visit schools

As Police continue to tackle county lines they have been visiting schools to educate pupils.
County Lines are drug lines that run, as the name suggests, from county to county and often involve the exploitation of Children, using them to carry drugs from location to location.

Officers from Staffordshire Police have been visiting schools and Children’s homes to educate Staff and pupils of and showing them ways of identifying victims in the hope that the message will be spread.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said
“This week your local neighbourhood teams have been visiting locations such as schools and childrens homes to educate and engage with staff and young persons about county lines, showing them ways of identifying victims in the hope that the message will be spread and we can gather intelligence and interrupt these drug lines.”
