Public invited to attend an Extra-Ordinary Governing Body Meeting on the Future of Local Health Services in North Staffordshire

The Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent are inviting members of the public to attend an Extra-Ordinary Governing Body Meeting, which is being held to make a decision on the Future of Local Health Services like Leek Moorlands Hospital
The meeting will be held in public ‪from 2.00pm to 5.00pm on Tuesday 21 January‬ at The Best Western Hotel, Etruria Hall, Festival Way, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 5BQ.
The CCGs will be considering the Decision-Making Business Case, which is the next step for the CCGs in the work they have been doing with clinicians, health partners, local authorities, voluntary organisations and the public, to look at how local health and care services could be delivered differently to meet local needs against the backdrop of significant challenges faced by the local health economy. The Decision making board has been created since the CCGs met in June 2019 to consider feedback from the 14-week public consultation that was held between December 2018 and March 2019
