Residents in the Moorlands are being invited to attend public events which will focus on the proposed changes for local health services.
The current NHS North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Clinical Commissioning Groups consultation surrounds:
Community-based services in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands; Community hospital beds available for rehabilitation and; Some of the consultant-led outpatients clinics such as outpatients appointments for skin conditions.
The public consultation sessions will be workshop events where participants will be able to: Find out more about the consultation and why the NHS say that change is needed; Give their views on key questions and; Join the discussion and add their voice to consultation feedback.
In the Moorlands, there will be a public event at St Edward’s Academy in Leek on Thursday, January 24 at 7pm; and another event at The Manor Hotel in Cheadle on Monday, February 25 at 7pm.
