Coronavirus: Staffordshire and Stoke to remain in tier 3


Staffordshire is to stay in tier 3 restrictions for at least the next two weeks.
Restrictions are to be reviewed fortnightly however Staffordshire and Stoke-on-trent will stay in tier 3 restrictions.

A number of places are moving up to tier 3 restrictions across the east and south east of England.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said that cases have fallen across much of England but most places aren’t there yet.

Only Bristol and North Somerset and Herefordshire are going to face reduced restrictions.
Bristol and North Somerset will enter tier 2 and Herefordshire will enter tier 1 from Saturday.

The five days over Christmas where three households are allowed to mix are unchanged however caution is being advised when meeting others.
