Leek Town put their Northern Premier League West campaign on the back burner for this weekend as they turn their attention to the Emirates FA Cup.
After a frantic game against newly promoted Macclesfield FC on Tuesday night, Neil Baker’s men welcome Midlands Football League Division One side Atherstone Town to Harrison Park in the Preliminary round of the competition.
Leek will be the favourites to win the game as they sit two leagues above Atherstone. However, new signing Tom Carr knows that he and his teammates need to be focused if they want to progress to the next round.
