Fawlty Towers is one of the most iconic and much loved sit com of our lifetime.

Originally broadcast on BBC2, the two series of six episodes ran between 1975 – 1979 and was inspired by a stay at the Gleneagles Hotel in Torquay in 1970 when co-writer John Cleese stayed there with members of the Monty Python crew.

Stand out characters were Basil Fawlty and his wife Sybil, Polly the chambermaid and iconic Spanish waiter Manuel.

Well these much loved characters and plot have been reimagined for the stage in a production that enjoyed a sold out stint in the West End and is now touring the country.
