Rebuilding continues apace at Vale Park as the Club announced former Hamilton Academical Centre Back Aaron Martin will join the club on the 01st July.
Martin’s career started within the youth setup of Eastleigh FC before moving to Southampton in September 2009 after three years within the ‘Spitfire’ Club. During his time at Southampton, Martin went out on loan to Salisbury, Crystal Palace and Coventry before he made the switch to Birmingham in the January 2014 transfer window.
His career took him to various clubs post Birmingham, playing at Yeovil, Coventry, Oxford and Exeter before he spent last season North of the Border in the Scottish Premiership with Hamilton Academicals giving him a total of 267 appearances at ‘League’ level and over 300 including his stint with Eastleigh.
