Appeal after cash machine raided in Stoke-on-Trent

Police are appealing for information after a cash machine was raided by a group of men in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called to Wimbourne Avenue, Stoke-on-Trent, at 1.20am yesterday (Thursday 28 April) following reports of a burglary.

Witnesses reported spotting a white Ford Transit and white Volkswagen Golf parked outside a business premises.

About four or five men were seen coming out the vehicles, all wearing dark clothing.

The offenders removed cash cassettes from the machine and left in the Volkswagen Golf – in the direction of Trentham Road.
