Appeal After Two Men Assaulted in Hanley

Officers are appealing for information after two men suffered serious head injuries following disorder in Hanley.

Police were called at 5.18am on Sunday (5 September) to Stafford Street.

Two men were found unconscious at the scene.

A 19-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service.

The victims remain in hospital in a serious condition.

It is understood that two males, described as black, one wearing a white, short-sleeved t-shirt and black waistcoat with blue jeans, the other wearing all dark clothing, were involved in the incident.

Police are urging these men to come forward to speak to officers.

Officers are also appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened or who may have dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch.
