Appeal after Unknown Man Enters Properties

Officers are appealing for information after an unknown man entered a number of properties in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to Ford Green Road, Stoke-on-Trent on Friday (21 January) following reports of suspicious activity.

It is reported a man entered a property through a back door at around 3am and walked through the house.

The occupiers discovered the man in the property and he immediately left the scene on foot in direction of Orion Street.

Then police were called again at around 4.30am on the same day where it is believed a back door to a property, near a park estate off Moorland Road, Burslem was kicked open.

It is believed nothing was stolen.

Five minutes later, officers were also called to another property near Moorland Road, Burslem where it is reported a property was broken into and items had been moved in the victim’s bathroom.

No items were reported stolen.

The offender is described as black, in his 20s to 30s, of slim build around 6ft in height, wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit and a black beanie-style hat.

Officers are conducting house-to-house inquiries and ask anyone with information to contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 054 of 21 January.
