Organisers of the Christian Aid sponsored walk at Tittesworth has been cancelled for the second consecutive year,
The walk was due to held on 20th March 2021 but organisers have pulled the event after the Tittesworh management had decided not to allow any outside events to take place there due to the possibility of overcrowding at the Staffordshire Moorland beauty spot.
Tittesworth is operating under strict Coronavirus guidelines in order to keep the visiting public as safe as is possible.
The country is expected to be still under some degree of restrictions for the near future but until the government announce the ‘Roadmap’ for exiting the national lockdown, it is not known what limitations will be on outside gatherings.
Christian Aid’s Sponsored Walk organisers have announced that last year’s (cancelled) walk has raised the amazing sum of over £24,000.
They are encouraging Christian Aid supporters to organise their own walks at a venue and time of their choosing. They have produced their usual Sponsor Form which can be downloaded here. Christian Aid ask that these be returned so that they can claim the Gift Aid donations.
