There’s enough to do at Christmas without having to remember any changes to bin collections Staffordshire Moorlands District Council are making it easy to keep on track this festive season.

Collections of grey and blue-lidded bins due on Monday 27 December, Tuesday 28 December and Monday 3 January have been rearranged, while brown bin collections will be suspended until the New Year.
Councillor Sav Scalise, Cabinet member for the Environment, said:
“We’re all busy enough at Christmas without having to remember any changes to bin collections as well – so we’ve made it quick and easy to check via our website.
“The online bin collection calendar has been updated with the changes to rounds over the festive period and you can check when your collections are by simply entering your postcode and selecting your address.
“Our website also includes information about what goes in your bins just in case anyone needs a reminder.”
Bins must be presented by 7am on collection day.
Although brown bins will not be collected over Christmas, residents are advised to continue putting all cooked and uncooked food waste (including vegetable peelings and bones) in their bins in preparation for the rounds to begin again.
