Leek Town Council is encouraging local people to consider becoming a councillor. Elections for District and Town Councillors will be held on Thursday 4th May.
The council is asking anyone interested to get in touch. They have said that the commitment can be anything from just two or three hours per month.
For anyone interested in finding out more information, the Returning Officer has set up a briefing session to describe the nomination process and to answer any questions.
The briefing will be delivered in person and via Teams on Tuesday 28th February at 6.00 pm, in the Council Chamber within Moorlands House in Leek.
