Dave Stringer in Conversation with Cassidy Janson (Carole King)

74

In the latest of our series highlighting the virtues of tribute acts I get to chat to Cassidy Jansen who performs the music of Carole King.

To be honest she isn’t just a tribute act because Cassidy has had King herself write a track for her debut album.

She is currently on tour. She is also an Olivier award winner and in this show she honours the music of icon Carole King who she played for two years in ‘Beautiful: The Carole King Musical’ in London’s West End.

Cassidy showcases her breathtaking vocals on King’s biggest hits including Natural Woman, You’ve Got a Friend, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow and many more, including songs influenced or inspired by King. Cassidy is a star of the West End and has appeared in many shows including Wicked, &Juliet and Chess. A stunning evening not to be missed!

She plays Shewsbury on the 12th May and you can purchase tickets HERE
