Multiple crews continue to tackle a blaze in Cheadle which started last night (Monday 26 April) that has been centred around Cheadle Park.
Staffordshire Fire & Rescue were called at about 5.45pm to reports of a fire off of Park Lane. Multiple crews have been in attendance and Staffordshire Police and Highways were both asked to attend to manage road closures so crews could use hydrants in the area to tackle the flames.
Firefighters have continued to fight the blaze throughout the night while monitoring its direction of travel to protect properties in the vicinity.
Crews are expected to be on-scene Tuesday (27 April) to fight the fire and continue with damping down. Road closures will remain in place, although some earlier closures have now been lifted.
