Hanley Town captain Louis Dodds looks ahead to the Easter Monday title deciding clash with Boldmere St. Michaels

On Easter Monday, Hanley Town will be crowned champions of the Midlands Football League Premier Division if they avoid defeat against 2nd place Boldmere St.Michael’s at the Payaro Stadium.

It’s free entry to the game, so the club managed by former Stoke City and Port Vale man Carl Dickinson are hoping for a big crowd to roar them onto promotion.

Another key person in the ranks of Hanley Town is captain Louis Dodds and he spoke to Moorlands Radio about the importance of Monday’s game.

A defeat for Hanley today will take the title race to the final game of the season when Hanley head to Tividale and Boldmere visits Walsall Wood next Saturday.
