Hanley Town snap up Keenan after his departure from Leek Town

Following his departure from Leek Town, Louis Keenan has signed for Northern Premier League West side Hanley Town.

Keenan announced his departure from Leek on Sunday having spent five years with the club. The left-back originally joined Leek in 2019 from Loughborough Dynamo and went on to make nearly 200 appearances and scoring six goals for the Blues.

Last season he played in every game for Josh Brehaut’s men as they went on to win the Northern Premier League West championship before he was named in the division’s team of the season for the second consecutive season.

Keenan is the third signing this summer for Hanley as they have already brought in former Port Vale captain Tom Pope and Leek Town midfielder Marc Grocott.
