Kidsgrove Athletic defender Josh Thorpe is delighted to be back on the pitch after recovering from a serious Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury that he picked up last year.
Thorpe suffered the injury at Wolstanton United in a pre-season friendly and has been in the treatment room since then.
However, the defender has always remained upbeat about returning to playing and following a couple of stints as an unused substitute, Thorpe returned to the starting eleven in the 3-2 win at Ramsbottom United.
After the trip to Ramsbottom, I caught up with the defender to see how his return to action went.
