A day organised by partners in “Grime” Alan Fletcher and Sammi Pickering was given the Valentines Day vibe when a huge number of Leek residents showed the love for their home town of Leek.
The ‘Love Where You Live Leek’ supporters went out in huge numbers to litter pick their streets and ended up filling 73 bin bags of rubbish collected on the day. An incredible 323 streets out of a possible 435 were covered.

Sammi Pickering agreed with his comments and between them they started a Facebook group which now has over 400 likes and follows.
