Listen: Nominations Wanted for Biddulph Mayor Awards 2021

Nominations are now open to celebrate those unsung heroes who help make Biddulph a great place to live, work & socialise. Nominations will remain open until until 23rd April 2021.

The categories in which you can nominate are:

Youth: Recognises an individual or group of young people age 18 and under who have made an outstanding contribution to their local area or of Biddulph as whole. This could include physical or social media activities.

Sporting & Leisure: Recognises a group or individuals sporting- achievement for Biddulph. Be it playing, organising or contributing to sporting development.

Art & Culture: Recognises an individual or groups work who have made an outstanding contribution to the arts in Biddulph. This could include art, music, craft and photography.

Tourism & Trade: Recognises a business that promotes Biddulph as a visitor destination. This can be a camp site, B&B, visitor site, local attractions. Alternatively, it could be a local business that has gone above and beyond.

Environmental: Recognition for a group or individual who have made a significant difference to the conservation or environmental protection of Biddulph.

Ambassador of Biddulph: A person who represents Biddulph in a positive light outside of the area. At a local, national or international level.

Lifetime Achievement: A recognition of an individuals continued commitment to the community over an extended period.
