A man has been arrested this morning (8th February) following an incident in Biddulph town centre.
Police got a call just after 12am following reports that a man was trying to get inside an address.
When officers got there, a number of threats were made.
A short time later, they arrested a 45-year-old man, of no-fixed-address, on suspicion of affray, assault and criminal damage.
He is being questioned in custody today.
