Detectives have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following incidents in Kidsgrove on Friday evening (August 13).
We received reports a man had been stabbed and that property had been damaged, including car tyres being slashed in the Market Street area, at around 9.30pm.
A 23-year-old, from the Burslem area, is in custody. He was also arrested on suspicion of wounding and robbery.
A man is receiving hospital treatment for his injuries which are serious but not life-threatening.
