Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for 15-year-old Layton Bowman from Blurton, Stoke-on-Trent.
Layton was reported missing from his home address on 18 August.
He is described as white, around 5 foot 8 inches in height, of slim to medium build with light brown hair.
He is believed to be wearing a dark-coloured jacket with a grey hooded sweatshirt underneath, possibly with the hood up.
Layton has connections in Weston Coyney and the Macclesfield area of Cheshire.
