This week’s edition of Moorlands Sport Extra is now out.
For this edition, we are launching a new feature for the podcast which is called- Inside. As you can guess from the name will we be going inside our local clubs, finding out how they operate as well as hearing some of the stories that make each club unique.
We will be hearing from owners, directors, managers, players and most importantly fans and volunteers to find out what the club means to them.
This will be a monthly feature so it will go out as the first podcast of each month.
To start with, we go inside Congleton Town FC.
The Bears were moved to the Midlands Football League in the summer and after a shaky start find themselves top of the league (at the time of writing).
We hear from chairman Charles Porter and Director of Senior Football Chris Rowley about the day-to-day running of the club from a business point of view and a football point of view.
Kitman and head of media Adam Gosling explain to us the important link between the club and Mind, Body and Sole- which he founded. He also takes us through what life is like at the club on a matchday.
While first-team manager Richard Duffy and captain Darren Chadwick tell us why they are loving life at the Cleric Stadium.
This is the first one of the Inside podcast, so we would love to hear your feedback on it, don’t you can listen to the podcast in all the normal places.
We’re also thrilled to announce that Moorlands Radio Sport is now on YouTube and, the podcast will be uploaded to the channel as well.
