New Nantwich Town manager Paul Carden hopes to keep the Dabbers in the Northern Premier League Premier Division

Following his appointment as the new Nantwich Town manager on Monday, Moorlands Radio caught up with Paul Carden to discuss his arrival at the Swansway Stadium.

Carden replaces Ritchie Sutton and Gary Taylor-Fletcher who left the club at the weekend following a 2-1 defeat at Morpeth Town which left them three points off safety in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

Formerly the boss of league rivals Warrington Town and, National League North side AFC Telford United, Carden is honoured to get the job and, hopes that he can keep the Dabbers in the NPL Premier this season.

Also on the agenda is how the appointment came about, the extent of the immediate challenge he faces with the club, and whether he will be dipping into the transfer market between now and the registration window shutting at the end of next month.
