Yesterday afternoon, Port Vale announced that they had appointed Darren Moore as their new first team manager.
The former West Bromwich Albion, Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town boss was chosen to succeed Andy Crosby who had been relieved of his duties with the club last Monday.
Following his appointment to the role as first team manager, Moore sat down with various members of the media including ourselves at Moorlands Radio to discuss the appointment and what he hopes to achieve during his time with the Vale.
His first two games as manager are tricky away fixtures against teams around the Vale in the league table. First up is a trip to Cheltenham Town and then the re-arranged fixture at Reading before the Vale are back at Vale Park for the visit of Lincoln City on Saturday 24th February.
