Ahead of the big kickoff in the North West Counties Football League on Saturday, I sat down with the NWCFL chairman Paul Lawler to look ahead to the new season.
In our chat, we spoke about the new season, the effect of coronavirus over the last three seasons and the arrival of Foley Meir to the North West Counties Football League.
The opening day fixtures involving our local sides are as follows:
Longridge Town v Congleton Town NWCFL Premier
Abbey Hulton United v Cheadle Town NWCFL 1st division south
Cheadle Heath Nomads v Foley Meir NWCFL 1st division south
Wythenshawe Amateurs v Alsager Town NWCFL 1st division south
