On Wednesday night around 7:20pm Moorlands Police received a call to a group of young boys seen on the roof of Coffee One in Leek.
They had thrown a chimney down onto the ground. Shop owners who were still around then heard the noise and a dog walker had seen the boys in question throw it.
On their arrival officers found the boys had gone, but the broken pot was smashed in a pile.
If anyone saw this or knows of who the boys were, they are being asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101.
