Staffordshire FA staff complete mammoth tour of Staffordshire for ‘United For Neve’

On Sunday 30th April, Staffordshire FA staff completed a mammoth tour of Staffordshire to raise money and awareness for United For Neve.

Neve, the daughter of Vicky Collins (Senior Regulatory Officer at Staffordshire FA), suffers from a rare condition called PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections), which has resulted daily seizures, paralysis of the legs, hallucinations, OCD, and depression.

Neve’s condition is so severe that the only treatment that could give her a chance at a normal life is IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) therapy, which is not readily available in the UK. As a result, Vicky and her family have started a fundraising campaign to towards the cost of Neve’s treatment in America.

The tour saw staff visit every National League System club along the way in the form of walking, running or cycling five different routes.
