Survey puts Staffordshire Moorlands District Council services in the spotlight

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council wants to better understand the priorities of its communities, and how residents feel about issues such as community safety, local decision making, value for money and other public services.

The Council has created a satisfaction survey to help seek the views of local people and measure how well residents feel it is performing.

Councillor Bill Cawley, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: “Providing good quality services that meet the needs of our residents’ and communities is the reason the Council exists so it’s important that we ask people how we’re doing.

“That’s why we’re asking people to complete this survey and tell us what their priorities are for their local area. We’ll use this information to improve the services we provide so by completing the survey you’ll be making a real difference to where you live.

“You can complete it either on your own device or by using the devices available at Council receptions to complete it online. Paper copies are also available at Biddulph Town Hall, Cheadle Library and Moorlands House in Leek.

“The more people that fill it in, the better targeted our services will be to local needs and priorities so please spend a few minutes to share your views with us – we do appreciate it.”

You can find out more, and complete the survey, on the district council website. Collection boxes for completed paper surveys are provided in Biddulph Town Hall, Cheadle Library and Moorlands House.

The deadline for responses is Thursday 5th October.
