In the early hours of Saturday morning (21st September), Moorlands Police were made aware of an incident on The Crescent in Leek.
It was reported that an unknown person had been seen rummaging through an insecure vehicle.
The person has been described as a white male, roughly early 20’s, dressed all in black with a hood up and a face covering. They were also wearing a backpack.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 21240136032
Officers are also reminding Moorlands residents to check vehicles and not to leave valuables on show.
