The brilliant Blues Band (featuring Paul Jones, Dave Kelly and Tom McGuinness) have been blasting out pulsating live shows for 43 years, but are now embarking on their Farewell Tour. They play The New Victoria Theatre in Newcastle-under-Lyme next Thursday (24th February 2022), and are NOT to be missed.
Moorlands’ Dave Lee spoke to guitarist/vocalist Dave Kelly, who talked about early gigs such as the Rock Goes To College show at nearby Keele University (filmed by the BBC).
He also revealed how he came to start playing slide-guitar, and the origins of a great new composition featuring in the new tour, Them Ole Crossroad Blues.
