Three arrested in missing person investigation as detectives appeal for information

Detectives, investigating the whereabouts of missing person Kayleigh Weston, have arrested three people in connection with her disappearance.

A 30-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent, a 46-year-old man from Birmingham and a 36-year-old woman from Stoke-on-Trent have all been detained on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. They remain in police custody at this time.

Investigators are still concerned for Kayleigh’s safety and well-being, with the 33-year-old last seen in Longton town centre on Thursday 22 April.

Kayleigh is described as white, around 5ft 4ins tall, of thin build, with long brown hair which is sometimes worn up in a bun. 

She has tattoos on her arms and her neck. The tattoo on her neck is of an elephant with the letter ‘E’ alongside. 

She was last seen wearing the distinctive Superdry coat pictured, grey jeans and trainers, and there have previously been reported sightings of Kayleigh in the Fenton area of Stoke-on-Trent. 

She may be sleeping rough.
