Two men have been arrested in connection with a house fire on Beverley Drive, Bentilee, on Thursday (16 December).
Officers were called to the address at approximately 10:55pm.
A 31-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl remain in critical but stable condition in hospital.
Both men, aged 21 and 22, from Stoke-on-Trent, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday (Saturday 18 December).
They remain in custody.
