Werrington Lottery Still Going Strong

Despite the virus the Werrington Village Lottery has kept rolling on and the latest monthly draw took place in Sue’s Newsagents in Johnstone Avenue. Our photograph shows Sue on the right with Lottery Organiser Donna Ruscoe holding the bag containing the numbers from which Sue picked number 141

You have to be in it to win it and if you would like to know more about the Werrington Lottery which raises funds for village projects you can pick up an entry form at the Werrington Community Library & Wellbeing Centre.

Hello Donna…

The new lady in charge of the Lottery is Donna Ruscoe – who is also treasurer of our volunteer groups. Having just taken over she has been out and about and has increased the number of businesses taking part. Her aim is to add to the list of people taking part, as she commented, “The Lottery is one of the main fundraisers which enables our volunteers to develop services and aspects to enhance the lives of our residents and so is a very worthwhile venture – so join in and you could win!”

If you would like to join in or help out contact Donna on 01782 302840 or 07970 575844 or e-mail at – donna.ruscoe [donna.ruscoe@hotmail.co.uk].
