Witness Appeal Following Burslem Park Stabbing

Officers are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in a public park in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called at 5.38pm on Tuesday (3 August) to Burslem Park on Moorland Road in Burslem, following reports of violence.

Officers attended and an 18-year-old man was found with stab wounds to the arm, shoulder and back.

He was reportedly attacked by a number of males who subsequently fled the scene on foot.

The victim was conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.

He remains in a stable but critical condition in hospital.

Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time and urge anyone who may have seen what happened to get in touch.
