Former Leek Town defender Jack Sanders has joined Scottish Championship side Kilmarnock FC.
The defender joined the Blues in November 2018 from North West Counties side Charnock Richard, making his debut away at Colne FC in the Northern Premier League West Division. He went onto become a key member of Neil Baker’s side as they made the playoff final that season.
However, that summer, Sanders moved to former FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic after Leek were placed into the Northern Premier League South East Division.
Now after two years with the Latics, Sanders is moving to Rugby Park to further his career progression.
I caught up with Jack to discuss the move as he prepares to head north of the border.
