Air and land ambulances, police and fire services called to assist man in Biddulph

The local ambulance service as well as firefighters, police and the air ambulance attended an incident in Biddulph this afternoon (Wednesday 5th July).

Emergency services attended an incident on Slater Street just before 1pm.

An ambulance, two paramedic officers, a BASICS doctor along with the Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Tatenhill were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews discovered a man in his 70s with serious injuries.

Ambulance crews provided treatment at the scene before he was taken by ambulance to Royal Stoke Hospital for further treatment.
