Appeal after puppy stolen

Police are appealing to anyone in the Staffordshire Moorlands that might have information, after a puppy was stolen from an address in nearby Burslem.

Officers were called to a property on North Road at around 7.50am yesterday morning (17th January) following reports of a burglary.

A window had been smashed and damage had also been caused to the front door, before a five-month-old puppy was stolen from inside.

The puppy is described as a mixed breed, a cross between a Husky and a German Shepherd. He is mostly black in colour with brown patches on his legs and face.

If you were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, or have any CCTV or dashcam footage that could help with our investigation, please contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 079 of 17 January.

Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
